LOOKING TO ADOPT ONE OF SOUTHERN UTAH DOODLES & POODLES PUPPIES? Begin Here…
We will do our best to make the adoption process as easy on you and the puppies as possible. We recommend to always base a choice for a puppy off of temperament. However, buyers often have their mind set on a particular gender, color, or look. We will try our hardest to match you with your perfect puppy, but we also ask you to be open to all colors. We are confident that whichever dog you choose, it will be an amazing addition to your family.
Steps To Adoption
Step 1: Fill out the Form. Please fill out the form and let us know which puppy, or which breeding or breed you are looking for. If there is a name given on the website for a particular pup, please include that name as well. Please include the name you want on the contract, your email and phone number. Once we receive the filled out form, we will send you an email with our Puppy Contract / Health Guarantee for you to complete and return. We will also communicate with you to make sure we have all of your contact information.
Step 2: Fill out and return your Puppy Contract & Pay Deposit. Once we receive your application we will reach out to you via email. We will also then send you a puppy contract/health guarantee. We need you to fill it out completely, sign it, then email it back to us. You will then be ready to make your deposit. For the deposit we accept Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, CashApp or Credit Card. Once you’ve sent us the filled out puppy contract/health guarantee and paid the deposit. We will communicate with you to make sure we have all of your contact information and that we have officially added you to the official deposit list for that puppy or litter. NO DOG/PUPPY IS RESERVED UNTIL THE DEPOSIT HAS BEEN PAID!!
Refundable Deposit: Please note that if you choose not to purchase a puppy from Southern Utah Doodles & Poodles after making the deposit, we will refund 85% of your deposit before the puppies are born. If the puppies are born, but are less than 4 weeks old, 50% of the deposit will be returned. If the puppies are more than 4 weeks old there will be no refund given. However, you may also choose to transfer your deposit to a future litter rather than cancel your reservation. The entire amount of the deposit is transferable to a different litter.
Step 3: Puppy Selection & Balance Due. When the puppies are 4 weeks old, we will contact you to pick your puppy, if you have not already selected a puppy. (This will be in the order that deposits were made.) We DO NOT take deposits based on sex or colors of puppies. We take deposits based on selection order for a particular litter. If there is not a puppy that meets your requirements when it is your turn to pick, you can move your deposit to a future litter. The day you select your puppy, the remainder of the purchase price will be due if not meeting up in person for delivery. You may pay via Venmo (preferred) Zelle, Paypal, CashApp or credit card (Paypal & credit card will have the additional processing fee of 4% added). The remaining balance is expected within 24 hours of selecting your puppy (if you are not meeting in person for pickup) so that your reservation is secured. If meeting in person for delivery your balance will be due when the pup is given to you at pickup.
Step 4: Plan for Pick Up or Delivery. Make plans as early as possible with us on how you would like to receive your puppy when they are 8 weeks old. If meeting in person: dates, time and location will be arranged. If having the puppy transported, all fees associated with transport must be paid 1 week before transport. It is the responsibility of the buyer to secure transport, unless an agreement with Southern Utah Doodles and Poodles is made in advance. We have an extensive network of transporters we have used for years and will be happy to help arrange transport at the buyers expense. If picking up in person we prefer cash, as it seems like electronic payments that day always have a problem being transferred without issues. We are on a tight schedule for delivery times with other clients and need to have zero hassles with electronic funds being transferred. Also, if you decide to pay via credit card or PayPal additional fees of 4% will be charged to cover the transaction fees will be incurred. A puppy will not be released until it is paid in full, unless the Finance Program is being used.
Delivery Options: We generally try to make a delivery trip for each litter to a location that is close for multiple buyers. We also offer delivery to the door of your home, but this usually will have an additional added expense vs. meeting us in a central location. If you have a questions about delivery please contact us and we can give you more details. We also can help line up transport if needed, this is usually the responsibility of the buyer, but we have over a decades worth of contacts with delivery services. In most cases we can line one up quickly. All delivery service expenses are the sole responsibility of the buyer. If you need other transportation options, please contact us and we can get you pricing.
Step 5: Prepare. Stay updated and prepare your home for your new arrival.
We recommend that you have the following items prior to your puppies arrival. See the link below for our Grooming Guide. It contains links to other products we recommend.
• A kennel with a divider which will allow you to increase the available space for your puppy as it grows.
• A slip lead is our preference to train on leash, however you could use a normal leash.
• Collar and ID tag
• Puppy shampoo, comb and brush.
• Puppy Food
• Chew toys!
• Bowls for food and water
Step 6: Puppy Goes to Their New Home! When your puppy is 8 weeks old they are ready to go to your home as a loving new addition to the family. Whether you plan to pick up your puppy or have it delivered, your new family member will be a welcomed addition to your family.
Congratulations and we can’t wait for you to receive your newest family member and welcome to the Southern Utah Doodles & Poodles Family!

What to expect when you purchase from SUD&P
Every puppy we place in a home will be healthy and socialized with both adults and children. All of our breeding parents are required to have full panel genetic testing. This ensures that all of our puppies will be healthy, socialized and ready to be an amazing addition to your family.
We also provide the following:
Every puppy will receive a clean bill of health and a puppy health checklist from our vet prior to leaving to their new home.
All of our puppies come with a one year genetic health guarantee. If your puppy is found to have a congenital defect that is life threatening, we will replace your puppy with a new one from a future litter.
All puppies will be current on their vaccinations and deworming.
All puppies will be introduced to potty training via a wood pellet liter box and will be well on their way to getting it figured out. A high majority of puppies will be started on doggy door training as well.
Each puppy will go home with the following:
• A chew toy for them to play with that has mom/litters scent on it.

If at any point you are unable to care of your puppy you may bring the puppy back so that we may find a new home for it. We want all of our puppies to go to loving homes. Our goal is to never have one of our puppies enter a shelter or rescue.
